About Long Beach, NY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Long Beach is a suburban town in Nassau County, New York.  It is located on Long Island and is only a short train ride from Manhattan. Long Beach is unique from other parts of Long Island because it a high-density community and ranks as the 24th densest community in the country. Though the city is less than a mile wide and approximately 3.5 miles in length, its population is over 30,000. The city is attractive to families and commuters looking for more affordable home prices and a quieter atmosphere than can be found in the heart of the city.  Many of the city’s benefits, including its beautiful seasonal weather, can be experienced without the crowds and pollution that New York City can sometimes also be known for.

The city has many parks and recreation facilities, sports complexes, historic sites and landmarks within its eight neighborhoods.  There is much beachfront to be enjoyed as well.  If you find yourself in Long Beach in the summer then you will enjoy biking, walking, swimming and sunbathing.  Should you visit in the colder months, you can eat at one of the many lovely and well-known restaurants in the town or visit the House at 226 West Penn Street (or the Long Beach Historical & Preservation Society Museum).

Long Beach is the home of Don Corleone in the classic film, The Godfather while Sonny Corleone, his son lives in nearby Atlantic Beach.  In addition, scenes from both the HBO series The Sopranos and a great deal of the film, Goodfellas were filmed within Atlantic Beach. Other films and shows that have been filmed within the island include Boardwalk Empire and Law & Order as well as many Ed Burns films.  In addition to its influences on pop culture, Long Island is also geographically significant as the largest island in the contiguous United States. It is the 11th largest in the country, and the 148th largest island in the entire world. Its shape allows for plentiful coastline and its proximity to New York City makes it both suburban and urban, all at once. The beaches of the island are filled with vacationers in the summer and the tourists leave the residents to their peaceful home as autumn and winter begin.   Â
